Hi,

We are in the process of migrating from PB2019 to PB2022 (1892) and are having trouble printing barcodes. In one project, the customer has hundreds of different templates for labels. These templates are created by our customer with Infomaker and the syntax is stored in the database. The procedure has not changed since PB10.5. Sato printers are used as printers with appropriate fonts for the barcodes. With PB2022 the barcode is no longer output.

Regards

Rudi

Hi Andreas,

I compared the syntax of PB2019 and PB2022 again. Only the following has changed as a result

PB2022

export.pdf(method=0 distill.customPostScript="0" nativepdf.customsize=0 nativepdf.customorientation=0 nativepdf.pdfstandard=0 nativepdf.useprintspec=no nativepdf.imageformat=0 )

PB2019

export.pdf(method=0 distill.customPostScript="0" xslfop.print="0" nativepdf.customsize=0 nativepdf.customorientation=0 nativepdf.pdfstandard=0 nativepdf.useprintspec=no nativepdf.imageformat=0 )

Regards

Rudi

That's because XSLFOP was removed in PB 2022. I think it had dependencies to java, and java support was removed (it was already obsolete).

In the syntax I do see now the two barcode fonts. But I don't have them so I cannot really test this. What is the sato printer?

Andreas.

I mean what is the model of sato printer they use? Also they use any specific sato software?

Andreas.

Hi.

Where we should see a barcode font used in your syntax?

Andreas.

That's what I ask myself also. :-)

Normally my rule for this forum: Keep quite and do not smalltalk.

Thumb up (Helpful) for a good response is also a comment.

So yes... you get a thunmb up!
