Does anyone know if the PBL format has changed between PB 2019 R2 and PB 2019 R3/IM 2019 R3.    We are hoping to be able to use IM 2019 R3 with an application written in PB 2019 R2.   Our application stores reports as blobs in the database and when a user needs to edit one it is automatically extracted and placed in a PB 2019 R2 PBL and then Infomaker is launched to edit the datawindow.

I ask this question because I know Appeon have dissociated the runtime from the compile with this release and it is possible this has ramifications for datawindows and the PBL structures.

Thanks,

 Mark

Hi Mark;

  Should be OK ... the DW Object (aka IM "Report") syntax AFAIK is the same between these releases as R3 did not add any new features to the DW/Report objects. Of course, I would still recommend some good testing before putting into production.  ;-)

Regards ... Chris
