Good Evening,

I'm asking for your help because my PowerBuilder 12.6 Can't detect .Net the Framework 4.6.1 SDK , so I can't create a WebService Proxy, PowerBuilder responds with "Windows SDK for .Net Framework 4.0 or Higher was not installed", I've searched on internet but I Can't find any solution, can you Help me?

Here is the probe of my installed apps: https://ibb.co/nCvY1G, I'm trying this on Windows 8.1 and Windows 10.

I've tried this solution but nothings happens: https://www.appeon.com/developers/get-help/knowledgebase/windows-sdk-net-framework-40-or-higher-was-not-installed.html.

Thanks for your help.

Regards.

Hi,

try to install visual studio 2010 Express. It includes the Net Framework 4 SDK. I think you also need the service release 1 for visual studio 2010 Express.

The normal installation of the SDK don't work.

You need a developer account at microsoft to download this version. The normal download links from microsoft doesn't work anymore.

Sorry but I don't have the link anymore.

Regards

Christian

FYI:  Support for the .NET framework version 4.6.x and .NET Core 2.x framework is currently scheduled for Appeon PB 2018.

Correct.
Even with .NET versions 3.5 through 4.5 installed on a Windows 10 platform, PowerBuilder will not recognize that it has been installed.

I know of no solution to this .

Hi Jimmy;

  FYI: PB 12.6 is based on .Net 4.0 and can only detect and work with .Net 4.5 at best. You have to remember that PB 12.6 is now almost 4 years old and even then, was based on the PB 12.5.x code line.
