Hi all,

My customer complained that when they merge documents to pdf, the logo on the pdf cert has a grey background color, it should be white.  My merge algorithm uses PDFDocument object.

Attached are images of the logo file that's in the document (ANAB logo.png), what it looks like when they print to a PDF printer such a Microsoft Print to PDF (Win2PDF logo.png) and what it look like when they use the merge function, PDFDocument object (PDF Document logo.png).

Any ideas why the PDFDocument would make the background grey?

Thanks,
~~~Tracy
Hi Tracy,
Is the PNG file transparent? Is it premultiplied?
Regards,
Francisco
After analyzing the images, the original doesn't even have transparency, and in the PDF Document Logo.png the only difference is the background being #f8f8f8 instead of #ffffff
Is it possible the wrong file is being used?
No. I tried several different images. The customer sent me an image with a transparent background, but when I use PDFDocument to save the dw, the text on the logo is distorted. Doesn't happen with the original logo, just the light grey background. I don't understand why it would print without the grey when they print to PDF from another window in my app, but not when they print from the window that uses PDFDocument.
