Git integration with bitbucket cloud running on Windows Server pre R2 worked fine until December. Bitbucket then started enforcing use of TLS1.2.  Since then 'push' or 'pull' fail with 'server certificate invalid' error. Surprisingly, Tortoise Git allows me to 'push' and 'pull' with the remote repository. PB 17R3 running on a Windows 7 platform does not have this issue. What can I do to restore full Git operation within PowerBuilder?

I just did a quick test on PB 2017 R3 with Bitbucket and everything works fine on both Windows 7 and 10. I suggest that you upgrade to PB 2017 R3 LTS (Long-Term Support Version), which also contains may fixes in Git integration.

I suspect my problem is related to the platform that I'm running on. It's Windows Server 2007 R2 and needs to be at least Windows Server 2008 R2. I also verified that everything works fine on a Windows 7 platform. Thanks for the feedback.

PowerBuilder is not certified for any server version of Windows OS, so it is not surprising that you get this issue on Windows Server 2007 R2.
