We are using PB 2022 R2 2828 and have noticed that all our line graphs are now equipped with data (bullet) points, as the Modern graphs are being used.

Release notes state: The default hollow box symbolvalue for line charts has been replaced with a fixed hollow dot, and changing the symbolvalue is no longer supported.

Until now, we have always used line graphs with the NoSymbol! property. Is there a property to disable the data (bullet) points with modern graphs?

We can disable the Modern graphs locally in the pb.ini, but customers who receive a built application do not have a pb.ini, and therefore do not have the switch, automatically getting the Modern graphs with the data (bullet) points.

What options do we have to disable this on machines without an installed PB IDE?

You can deploy a PB.INI with your application. Put it in the same directory as your exe.

Thank you for the tip, we have now successfully stored and tested a slimmed-down pb.ini with just the setting. It works.

There is a description of the pb.ini settings here:
