Is there a best practice approach towards full or partial migration of PB desktop apps to C#?

I am using PB 12.5.2 but I am planning to upgrade to PB 2019 soon.

I get you.  Any plans in the future to have a automated converter to convert from Powerscript to C#?

Thanks for your response Chris.  So basically for now [with PB 2019] I should be able to migrate my non-visual objects [datawindows, datastores and then port the code] to C#?

I read somewhere that there will be a migration tool. What will that tool be able to do in terms of migrating from Powerscript/PB objects to C#/C# objects?

Thanks

Michael

Yes & no ...

1) There is a automated DataWindow object migration to C# built-in feature of the PB 2019 IDE

2) Your PowerScript though is not migrated. You will have to port your PowerScript to C#

Hi Michael;

  FYI:  PB2019's C# features are "server" side based only as they are built upon the new .Net Core 3.0 technology. Client side C# development is scheduled for PB2021 under the "Desktop Cloud App" feature ... https://www.appeon.com/developers/roadmap
