Would like to know the date of release of MR for 2017 R3, with old RTE control ?

This MR for PB 2017 R3 (that adds the TX TextControl) is scheduled to release January 31, 2019... so it is set to release early Q1 not late Q1.

   Yes, the next MR for PB2017Rx will include the previous TX control. This MR is currently scheduled for Q1 2019.

Earlier I read that it will be released in the month of Jan'2019. That's why I asked for a specific date.

The "old" RTE control is going to be added to PB 2017 R3 in the form of an MR that is scheduled to release in January 2019. Since it is an MR it would also include bug fixes.



PowerBuilder 2019 (both the beta version and the final GA version) will also include the "old" RTE control, but we recommend customers that want the "old" RTE control to upgrade to 2017 R3 (if they are not already on 2017 R3) and then apply the MR so your production apps get the "old" RTE control sooner rather than later and with long-term support.

The specific planned date for this MR for 2017 R3 is the 31st of this month.
