Hi

Is it possible to use kerberos or ntlm authentication with Powerbuilder 2017 WebServices?

Thank you in advance

Karl

Hi Bauman;

  Unfortunately, neither of these security protocols are supported in the current PB2017R3 release. Kerberos is supported from the DB client perspective (ie: for ASE) - but, not for web services.

Hi Chris,

what do you mean by "neither of these security protocols are supported"?

We are planning to deploy our WebServices using Integrated Windows authentication.

A colleague implemented some Post Build Processing that modifies the web.config and I believe that this works.

If not, we have some big trouble here.

Regards ... Arnd
