Hi Mike,

Is the issue reproducible or it happens occasionally? When the problem arises again, please make a copy of
C:\Users\###\AppData\Local\Temp\appeon\weblibrary_ax\X32\iwaweblibrary.cab and try to manually unzip it and see whether it is successful. If it fails, please provide us with the following information for analysis. Thank you!

1 The downloaded iwaweblibrary.cab.
2 Detail PowerServer version you are using.
3 Specific OS version for the machine.

Regards,
Zhao Kai.

It happened for one user. Not reproducible. the user kept trying to start it, and then finally it worked.

Hi Mike;

  Can you tell us ...

1) Is this a .NET or J2EE PowerServer?

2) When you package the Web App, are you requesting that it be compressed?

3) Is your PS App Profile requesting compression in any aspect?

For example:

Regards ... Chris

Try un-checking the "merge" option. I've had lots of problems with that one in the past.

i'm not looking to make the system load slower for everyone, just get the one guy working again.

Most likely it was just a bad download but error 13 is undocumented as to what could cause it so...

in any case, the merge and compression works correctly. If you have problems with it, then you don't have IIS configured correctly (took me several times to get that correct on my part).

Hi Mike,

I only mentioned it as an intent to pin down if it might have to do something with that setting or not. Not to accept it as a solution for every user.

Myself, I no longer have any problems with it. My managers expected Powerserver to be as fast as powerbuilder for retrieving 50,000 rows (and it nearly was!), so they gave up on ps.

Thanks for the tip on the IIS config though.

regards
