Resolved HttpClient Question

The GetURL function makes the web call asynchronously but doesn't support HTTPS.

The HttpClient object supports HTTPS but makes the web call synchronously.

Are both of these statements correct?

Has there been any thought to supporting async in HttpObject?

Hi Roland,

 

The GetURL function supports HTTP and HTTPS.

And the HttpClient object supports HTTPS but it will invoke a synchronous call.

Currently, we don't have a plan to support async in HttpObject. But I will record it as a new enhancement request and will transfer it to our product team for consideration.
