My organization is moving our subversion from one server to another. Our PB2019 desktops are configured to look at the old server. I tried updating every instance i could find in the registry to the new server name but the source control tab on the workspace for our app says it's still looking at the old server. Is there a way to point our existing setups to the new server or are we going to have to basically start all over via "connect to workspace" once the actual switch is made to the new svn server?

Hi Chris
We recently moved our Subversion repository to another server as well.
We used TortoiseSVN to move our workspace(s) to the new server address. Just right-click the workspace folder in Explorer and there should be a "Relocate" command in the TortoiseSVN subfolder of the Context Menu. (don't forget to make a backup copy of the workspace first)
Don't know if there's a way to make the switch from within Powerbuilder, but the relocate method worked without an issue.
Regards,
Markus

Oh, wait. So when you "relocated" in tortoise, pb was automatically pointing to the proper place, too?

Glorioski! You're a genius! That worked beautifully. I did have to re-supply my credentials in the source control tab of the workspace properties but that is to be expected, i guess. Again, many thanks.

Did you change your connection settings here: https://docs.appeon.com/pb2019r2/pbug/ch03s02.html#connecting_with_source_control

Thanks but the only settings i can change are my id and password. It would be really handy if you could change the repository URL in that window.

As Markus Eckert pointed out, what i was needing to do was in TortoiseSVN..Relocate. I changed my server spec in there and then had to re-supply my login credentials and that was all there was to it.
