Hi Team,

I installed PowerBuilder2019 in my VDI machine, this machine has no internet access. When I tried to activate the license using "Activate offline license manually" option, it is showing the below message.

Message: "You can only use an online license to activate PowerBuilder in VM environments"

I can request my network team to give access for some URL's to activate/use PowerBuilder in my VDI machine, in this case which URL's I can request?

Offline license is not supported on virtual machines.  You can only use online license on virtual machines.

Online licenses can be activated on physical or virtual machines. As long as PowerBuilder can contact Appeon's licensing server, and your license is assigned as "online", you should be able to use Appeon PowerBuilder.

Good day,

Brad is correct, here's the information again:

Make sure you configure the machines' firewall to allow the PowerBuilder application to access to the following domain used by the Appeon licensing server.

Protocol: HTTPS
Port: 443
Domain: api.appeon.com and api2.appeon.com

However, you will have to ask your license administrator to assign your license as "Online" again so you can log in (once the configurations have been done).

Cordially,

Mariano C.
