Resolved Export powerbuilder datawindow into RTF word document

Hi,

 

I have a requirement that i need to export the datawindow into rtf word format with all design and data formating as like in datawindow. how i would do that?, Can you guide me.

Hi Vignesh;

    Unfortunately, the DataWindow Control (or DataStore) does not have a SaveAs (RTF!) option. The only RTF export that can be done is from a RTE Control.

    The only workarounds that I can think of are:

  1. is to use an OLE connection to word and then script the transfer of the DWO datum into MS-Word via using program (PowerScript) control.
  2. Save the DW as a PDF and then use a PDF to Word converter. For example: https://www.soliddocuments.com/products.htm?product=SolidPDFtoWord
