Hi,

We have an issue with Cross tab report, while saving to HTML, Excel, or any other format, dynamic compute columns heading (data) is not display instead displaying as physically created computed columns.

eg. Dynamic columns such as months (Jan, Feb, Mar ...)  displaying dw, but while exporting columns displaying as month_1, month_2, month3, ...)

How can solve any property or dll or ?

Regards

Antony

Hi Antony,

Saving to HTML works well on PowerServer on our end. Please open a support ticket in the support portal, please provide a simple PB case and SQL to create table & data to reproduce the crash issue. Many thanks in advance.

Hi Antony,

The PowerBuilder application and the Web application have the same behavior: the columns heading (data) will display correctly when saved to HTML and PDF, and will display as month_1, month_2, month3, ... when saved to excel, txt, csv, etc..

Please help check if the PowerBuilder application behaves the same as I described above and provide a simple PB case for us to reproduce the issue for more study. Thanks!

Regards,
ZhaoKai

Hi Antony;

  Unfortunately, this is a restriction of the CrossTab DWO - it only exports what is in it's internal primary buffer to Excel and not exactly 100% of what you see on the screen or a printed report. What you are asking for would be an enhancement request.

  The workaround would be to export the CrossTab as a PDF.

Regards ... Chris
