My objective is to archive the below screenshot. And also desktop computers have different screen sizes. How can it auto fill the screen regardless of the computer screen size, in other words "responsive".

Well said. I have been trying to come up with a beautiful look and feel for a powerbuilder application and it's really a hustle, so I was looking for other ways to achieve that. System logics and processes and good using powerbuilder.

If someone could develop and showcase goods UI's developed in PB, there could be a good market, if priced sensibly.

Yes, sure. If there is no other way let me try to beautify my powerbuilder application. Maybe I can be the first one.

Hello

There are improvements in which the end give a more attractive appearance to your application with new objects such as the RibbonBar , the WebBrowser to view graphs of Echarts and Google Charts

greetings

Hi, Matthews -

That's a very open-ended question. Allow me to ask you: What is it in an application that you find appealing and attractive? Conversely, what do you believe is unappealing or unattractive? If you don't know, how will you know what needs to be changed?

Have you tried themes in PB? If you're looking for a relatively painless and quick upgrade to your app's visual presentation, you might wish to experiment with themes. If you've not used themes before, I suggest you try theme-ifying a small, test app first to learn how to integrate, customize, and deploy themes in a PB application.

Please be aware that (in my opinion) the enabling of themes is NOT a magic wand that will automatically transform an unattractive app into an attractive one. Using themes is like putting new slipcovers over old, ugly, well-worn furniture... Yes, the furniture may look a little better afterwards, but it's still the same furniture.

An engaging, intuitive, easy-to-use visual interface does not occur by happenstance... it is the result of result of consistently applying well thought out design principles and choices. Do you have any visual design standards documented that your developers must adhere to? If not, then you have no consistent visual interface. Do you have a GUI review committee/team? You should, to ensure visual design standards are followed by the entire cadre of developers.

If theming does not achieve the end results you are seeking, then I suggest you (and your team) start scouring the web for articles and blogs on modern GUI design concepts and principles - there are lots of resources out there. Have your team reach a consensus on how you want your app(s) to work, look and feel - document those "standards" so that every developer can refer to them, then start implementing those visual design standards.

Good luck!

Attractive i mean it should have a good look and feel. Having different kinds of colors and navigations. The application looks dull and skeleton. I have not tried to use themes.
