Greetings All,

We're running PB22. My question is-Is there a way to edit header group columns? I have a datawindow with a group header that I need to let the users edit if necessary. For instance DEEP FREEZE is the header column, I can't seem to do it, is there a trick?

Thanks,

Dennis

Hi Dennis;

  No, the header band is never editable in any style of DWO (now or in the past).

  FWIW: What I do in your case in my Apps is to open a response window with a free-form DWO (even an external type) that allows the App user to edit the heading values. Then when the response window closes, I grab the external DWO's column values and under Script control, update the primary DWO's heading(s) with those new values. Food for thought.

HTH

Regards ... Chris

Thanks Chris.

We do that with a couple of reports that are nested. I just wondered if I was missing something simple.

I'll catch you next week at Elevate.

Thanks again,

Dennis
