After installing the PB2017 runtime kit and our application, running the app produces the error:

The application was unable to start correctly  (0xc000007b).

I installed the same two kits on a Win 10 machine and it worked fine.

Hi John;

   Can you tell us ...

  1. Did you copy the PB runtime to the W2016 machine?
  2. Use the PB Packager utility to create an MSI to install PB runtime on W2016?
  3. Is this the first time any PB App's have been installed on the W2016 machine?
  4. Is this a P-Code or M-Code compiled App?
  5. Is your PB App 32 or 64 bit in nature?
  6. What DBMS & client is your App trying to use?

Regards ... Chris

Oooo ... That's not good. That should work!

BTW: is this PB2017R3 (build 1858)?
