Resolved Why Power Builder Closes after deploy a project?

Can somebody tell me why Power Builder Closes after deploy a project.

Currently I'm using Power Builder 2019, build 2170. Installed on a Windows 10, 64 bit machine (RAM 12 GB).

When I deployed a Project it always closes after create an executable, In PB 2017 when I deployed a project it creates an executable but still open.

Is there any configuration to avoid this?

Hi  Erick，

I tested locally but can’t reproduce this issue.
When you are deploying, did you set it as 32-bit or 64bit? PBD or Machine Code?
After the deployment, can you run the generated EXE successfully?

I suggest you:
1. Reinstall PB and then try again.
2. Launch PB IDE via Run as administrator and then try again.
3. Can you replicate this issue if you use the Deploy Code Example application or other small cases to test?

If the issue still persists, I suggest you deploy your application via the PBC method temporarily to work it around.

Hi Erick;

   This should never happen and never does for me with my applications under PB2017R3, PB2019 or now PB2019R2 under W10.  Have you tried running the IDE "as Admin" as I normally do?

   Note: Please open a Support Ticket on this issue if its still happening.

I wouldn't use machine code build, try it pcode instead.

Yes, after the deployment I can run the generated EXE sucessfully.

Yes I launched the PB as administrator

No I can not replicate this issue using some Appeon examples, it is happening only in my three projects.

So next step is try to reinstall the IDE , I'll let you know my results.

Are you getting an exe that works? My guess would be that the build process is aborting the IDE.
