A PB Application compiled with PB2017 R2 is now requires PBSourceControl170.dll.

What source control dll has to do with executable? Sounds like a bug.

It does show up when I open PBVM170.DLL in Dependancy Walker. My guess is it is used by PBVM functions that are only called by the PB IDE. It appears to be for the new SVN/Git source control interface.

They should definitely change that. Report it in their bug reporting system.

Hi Yuri, Roland,

In the current version, due to the needs of the design, PBSourceControl170.dll is required in the deployment.

In the future release, we are planning to remove its dependence so you don’t need it in deployment.
