If you are an existing licensed PowerBuilder 2017 customer you can download it from the User Center: https://account.appeon.com/download

If you are on an older version of PowerBuilder, you can request a free 30-day fully functional trial here: https://www.appeon.com/products/appeon-powerbuilder.html

Just sharing an update about this.

Trial version on the website would always be the newest version, hence if you want to test another version (i.e. 2017 R3), you should contact Sales Dept (sales@appeon.com) for assistance.

If you have your valid active subscription, login and download the version you need from the Downloads section in the User Center: https://account.appeon.com/download

  • Powerserver Web Development server now included with powerbuilder rather than a separate purchase
  • Powerserver mobile now includes local database rather than requiring a separate purchase
  • New and much better community forum
  • Updated website
  • New long term support designation for specific PB versions

I was taking the Appeon fundamentals course, the teacher said that, there is a community version and student version. I watched it on this link https://www.appeon.com/appeon-u/pb



Would you know where could I download the version 11.5 or 12.5 but community or student?

Hi Carlos, Their is no community or student edition. Also, versions older than 2017 no longer available.
