Resolved What version of the PowerServer Workgroup perpetual license match with PowerBuilder MR#1915?

Hi everyone,

In our servers, we have installed Appeon PowerServer 2017 Build 1858.00 64-bit Edition Workgroup perpetual edition. Now we want to upgrade our PowerBuilder 2017 R3 1880 to 2017 MR#1915. Which perpetual version must be the right selection for us?

Hi Oscar,

PowerBuilder and PowerServer versions are independent of one another. You can choose to upgrade them separately.

PowerServer 2017 Build 1858.00 will work with PowerBuilder 2017 R3 MR#1915.

However, we do suggest you move to PowerServer 2019.

The latest version of PowerServer is PowerServer 2019 Build# 2151.

Please note that your developer edition of PowerServer and your production edition have to be upgraded separately.

PowerServer 2019 is compatible with PowerBuilder 2017 R3 MR # 1915.
