Resolved what needs to happen per pc and user to run only an infomaker report ( general users do no create/edit and are not licensed )

if a licensed user creates a report what licensing is required for a general user to run

 

does it need to be saved in the executable package

how does the database connection work within an executable?

for sql they are in a role with appropriate table permissions

 

desired application.   

Admin creates 4 general info reports.

put them on general desktops for users to run on demand

several machine, infrequent general users, 

what is required per user and machine to run the report?

Hi Greg;

   The "runtime" DLL's are free to distribute as per the IM License. In order to find out what DLLs you need to deploy, please see the IM Help file. Then perform a keyword search on the keyword "runtime". From there, you should see a link to "List of runtime files". From that link, it will take you to a detailed description of the files that need to be deployed to where you your IM based App EXE's reside.
