Resolved What are the steps to revert PS2020 to PS2017?

Hi, Appeon Team

In my company, we implemented a project to replace PS2017 with PS2020.

However, we are having some hardware behavior issues and want to revert back to PS2017.

Activated PS2020. Deactivated PS2017 at the same time.

 

What is the procedure for reverting to PS2017 afterwards?

I'd like to get back to the original configuration before PS2017 stops altogether.

Hi Tatsuya,

Please follow the steps below to revert to PS 2017.

1. Go to PS 2020 AEM > Server > Resources > Maintenance to backup PowerServer configuration.
2. Deactivated and uninstall PowerServer 2020.
3. Install PowerServer 2017 and activate it.
4. Go to PS 2017 AEM > Server > Resources > Maintenance to import the above backup PowerServer configuration.
5. Full deploy applications to PowerServer 2017.

For mobile applications, you may need to uninstall Appeon Workspace 2020 from devices and install Appeon Workspace 2017.
