Resolved WebView2 Configure Tracking Prevention

Hello,

I was wondering if the PowerBuilder WebBrowser using WebView2 might have a way to configure the setting for Tracking Prevention between Basic/Balanced/Strict? 

The only configuration function available on the control seems to be the WebBrowserSet function. Can this be used to set any WebView2 setting or is it limited to the 7 possible values noted in the help documentation for the first argument (setting)? 

Normally in MS Edge I'd navigate to edge://settings/privacy but I don't know that the PB Browser has a similar interface?

We're currently trying to debug an issue where Tracking Prevention disabled access to storage, but I'm not sure if this Tracking Prevention setting might be configurable outside of the application as well?

Hi Adam;

  AFAIK No. Although it might have that feature naturally "under the hood" just not exposed.

  I would suggest opening a Support Ticket for this as an enhancement request and then we can see what Engineering says after they investigate what features are exposed to PB and what PB might be able to set in the WV2 engine.
