Hi All,

This question is in addition to my 'page break' issue in the same dw (https://bit.ly/39P195i)

Since this free-form, one-row-at-a-time dw is about 6 letter-pages long, I added both VscrollBar and LiveScroll bars to the dw control on my window.

At runtime when I roll my mouse's wheel, the page rolls just about however much fits in the runtime window. There is not a bit of overlap so I really can not tell if I had rolled over and skipped one page or what displays in the current window does come after the page before the mouse wheel rolled one 'notch.'

What's more, when I scroll to the last page then roll my mouse wheel backwards just one notch (roll mouse wheel by just one click), it takes me all the way back to the top which is 6 pages away (that's a warp speed!)

Has anyone had this experience and how was the behavior corrected? ( I would like to have the scrolling to be more smooth and it does not leap from the last page all the way to the top in just one-notch mouse-wheel turn; just like how the scroll bar works on This web page, which you are currently on)

Thanks!

CJ

Hi CJ;

   FWIW: I am not seeing this in my PB2019 R@ GA release running on my W10 PC's. Nor have I noticed that before on a PB2017R3 built App on W10. I am testing with an App here today that has a DW spanning30 scroll-able pages.

   In order to answer your question better, I  suspect that we will need ...

  1. A lot more environmental information
  2. IDE or EXE run time issue?
  3. Ian EXE, exactly how is it compiled
  4. Details about all your DC property settings, low-level EventID mappings, other code around the DW Control, etc

Regards ... Chris
