We have a PB2022 application that when run on windows 11 the VScrollBar control added on the window (used to scroll up and down on saved entries) is invisible unless you hover over top of the control then it appears.

We have found a windows setting that we though controlled this visibility but turning it on, has no bearing.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Windows Settings -> Accessibility -> Always show scrollbars = On, but it doesn’t seem to have any effect.

Hi Brent, Try turning on UI Themes and see if the problem resolved. As Kitty mentioned, only when UI Themes is on does PB have control of the behavior of the scrollbar otherwise when UI Themes disabled what is being shown is controlled by behavior of Windows OS.

Hi Brent,

The VScrollBar control is a standard Windows control, and without using a UI theme, its appearance is controlled by Windows.

I also tried going to Windows Settings -> Accessibility -> Always show scrollbars = On, but it doesn’t seem to have any effect. I also tested the VScrollBar in Windows folders, and it has the same behavior as in PB.

Regards,

Kitty

Hi, Brent -

What Windows setting did you find/test?
