Hello

I am attempting to use the graphics mode to edit some queries for reports I have set up in Infomaker. When I do this, I get the error "The FROM clause could not be interpreted successfully".

Can someone help me resolve this error or is there a different way to view graphics mode?

Thanks!

Maybe a stupid question but:

- Are you connected to the right database when trying to do this?

- You can go to the menu "Design" > "Convert to syntax" (at least you can in "normal" powerbuilder IDE datawindow painter).

Try to delete all the double quotes. Check if maybe columnames or table names have been changed in the database or deleted.

Sorry that's all I can think of for now.

Which database are you using?

regards,

Sorry, I don't have Infomaker installed, but this might help you, even though it's for an older infomaker version:

quote from previous link:

"

Click the Syntax tab to make the Syntax view available, or select View>Syntax if the Syntax view is not currently displayed.

You may need to use the scroll bar to see all parts of the SQL SELECT statement. This statement is updated each time you make a change.

Hi Megan;

You might be connected to SQL Server but still, pointing to the wrong database within SS. Check your DB connection either in the "DB Profile" or "Database" painter: of the IM IDE and see.
