Hi All,

We are trying make an API call to Z o/s through PB 2019. The authentication process to this API call is through a certificate, i.e. a .pfx file. Can someone please suggest how we can achieve this. How can we use the .pfx certificate file to authenticate our call to the API.

Thanks.

Hi.

This functionality isn't supported in PB 2019 R3. You should upgrade to PB 2022. Httpclient object in PB 2022 has a SetClientCert method that should work.

Only by using a 3rd party control that supports this kind of authentication. I see you posted another relevant question about that, where René Ullrich provider an alternative.

Sorry this is the first time I have asked a question here in Appeon community. I don't get which is the other question you are referring to.

My mistake... It was a similar question asked from somebody else. Please take a look at the following discussion: https://community.appeon.com/index.php/qna/q-a/setclientcert-is-not-available-in-pb-2019-build-2670.
