Hi.

About PB 19 R3 + bitbucket.

I'd configured as appeon and bitbucket said, using app tokens, but I have a question.
I can put any email and it'll assume others login, I've tested and bitbucket uses the email to present the person that have pushed the commit.

How can I validate the app token (user ID) with de email, to avoid people using wrong email?

Thanks

Hi Gilcemar,

Author and Email are for information only. The user name is not required either when authenticating with a token. The same is the case with TortoiseGit.

Regards,

Kitty

Hi Kitty.

In my other reply, if I let the author and e-mail empty, I can't make the commit.

May you check what I'm doing wrong?

I've tested, bitbucket uses the e-mail to match the user in bitbucket.

So, if I put any e-mail, I could be anybody.

I don't know how to validade token and e-mail

Thanks

Hi Benjamin Gaesslein, thanks for anserwing.

Each user has his own token.
But they can change the email.

I've found the appeon instructions here, but for PB 19 R3 it's mandatory inform email and users.
https://docs.appeon.com/pb2022/troubleshooting_guide/tr_121.html

Same situation with PB 19 and PB 22

But, if I let empty, I get error on commit.

Hi,

is this token for the entire team? If so, maybe have every user create a personal access token only they can use instead.
