Resolved update for bug 6504

We are currently on IDE 2019 R3 2703 and using Runtime 2703 in production.

We would like to get bug fix 6504 out into our production. It is listed as DataWindow category.

Can we update our IDE to 2728, but use Runtime 2703, and recreate the executable. Then we will be able to deploy the exe to fix bug 6504?

If the bug you are talking about is a bug that only affects the IDE then your application won't have the bug.  If it affects the 2703 runtime, then you will have the bug in your application since you are running build 2703

Hi Luke;

   You will need to update both the IDE & Runtime to build #2728 for this GS fix.
