I'm having a problem with the PowerBuilder IDE. If I open PB and run the selected target (of 2 targets) in the local workspace, the application starts and runs OK.

But if I close the application and then right click the other target (with the intention of setting this as current) the IDE simply terminates without an error.

The IDE also abnormally terminates (again without an error) if I try to run either target in debug mode, with or without a breakpoint.

Has anyone else experienced this behaviour and have you found a solution?

Ought perhaps to add that we're using PB 2017 R3 build 1858

Adding to what Chris said:

5. Do a FULL BUILD on the 2nd app, then do a FULL BUILD on the 1st app.

6.  Try again with two app under the workspace in the IDE.

Hi Michael,

Adding to what Chris said, please make sure that all your files have the correct read/write permissions set on them. And that PB has the correct execution permissions too.

Hi Michael;

   Sounds like the 2nd Target file might be corrupt. My suggestion would be to

1) Close the PB IDE

2) Delete the 2nd Target file (a .PBT)

3) Restart the IDE and let it update the Workspace that the 2nd target is now gone.

4) Add the 2nd Target back via the PB IDE

HTH

Regards ... Chris
