The WebBrowser control now allows for PowerScript to execute JavaScript loaded in the control, both synchronously and asynchronously. TX TextControl is updated to the new 28.0 version, which now supports 64-bit. UI accessibility is supercharged with Microsoft Active Accessibility (MSAA) and Microsoft UI Automation.

It says, TX TextControl is updated to the new 28.0 version...

Shall we know which version it indicates ?  Is it the official TX Text Control Version or something else.

Version 28.0 corresponds to X18 on TextControl's website.

But keep in mind, the one in PowerBuilder is a special OEM version so there may be some differences.  Also, many of the new features are not available to use until Appeon exposes those APIs to PowerScript.

Thanks Armeen.

One of my clients, who is running a hospital, wants to integrate document printing facility that could best be done with Microsoft Word [that's what he currently use]. Looks like X18 of Textcontrol is having a lot of features that we require. If those is available [ or will be made available ] in PB's TX Text Control, that would be great that we need not search for another add-on.

Is there any possibility to know what features will be [ not ] available in PB's version and when ? Not sure whether this is too early, but a list will make to plan further.

We have not yet made such plans other than generically knowing we need to support more of its features. Please send email to product@appeon.com with prioritized list of features you would like added.
