Resolved Thermal printer

Good afternoon!
I need a thermal printer to not need to be closed by the printclose() command, for printing to occur. I have a calculator at the register and, for each value that will be used in the calculation, a line must be printed with that value. Closing the printer using the printclose() command prints the line, but with many lines of space between the lines.

I don't know the answer, but some additional information from you would be very helpful:

What make/model of thermal printer? Does the printer vendor document how this printer can be defined/used in a Windows environment in the manner you describe?

Have you been able to accomplish what you wish to do with other software and/or earlier version(s) of Windows? If so, please elaborate.

How is the thermal printer connected to the PC? Parallel port? USB? IP/network?

Is there a printer driver being used by Windows? If so, which one?

The printer is a CIS-1400, there is no dll or additional configuration to install it. It is installed as generic.

With the Diebold IM453HU printer, this works, because it uses a dll, and, in this case, the printout comes out correctly.

It is connected via the USB port.

I did a search while on my lunch hour, and the only hits on "CIS-1400" were for an Epson Stylus 1400 with a Continuous Ink Supply System (CISS). Is this what you are using?

If not, what is the name of the manufacturer, and what is their web site?

I did NOT ask about other printers (hardware), I asked about other software you may have used that works with this printer.

I don't like to repeat myself, but is there a Windows printer driver for this printer and, if so, which one?

If you ask for help, you need to completely answer clarifying, follow-up questions.
