Hello everybody,

I have a problem with the delivery of Powerbuilder (Version 2019 R3 Build 2670, Runtime 19.2.0.2670).
I was just about to use the new version for one of our customers and ran into the following problem.

How did I proceed:
- uninstalled all old Powerbuilder runtimes
- runtime 19.2.0.2670 installed
- Server restarted (Windows Server2012 R2)

When I tried to start our program, the following error message came up.

"There is currently no matching version, Lowest Supported Version: 19.2.0.2670"

Did I forget any steps?
Does anyone have any idea why this might be?
How can I proceed now to use the new version?

Annotation:
The picture of the control panel was taken after I reinstalled Runtime 2019R2. That is why both versions can be seen in the picture.

Thanks in advance
Stefan Malkwitz

Hi Stefan;

The new R3 edition of PB2019 now produces an App .XML file on compilation.  Did you ...

1) Deploy this new XML file with your PB App EXE?

2) Edit (check) the deployed XML file for the correct path to the PB2019R3 runtime (As per your attached deployment screen capture)?

Regards ... Chris

Hi,

I've added this path inside this xml(path to the PB2019R3) to the PATH environment variable and now my application works without this xml file.

Hi Tiago ... yes, that technique still works as well like in older PB deployments. :-)
