Hi all,

We are upgrading the Powerbuilder from 10.5 to 2017 R3 version. During SIT, QA team has identified a defect in the look and feel of One of our PB application (MPS) screen dropdown tabs, there is a mismatch in the background color in the dropdown boxes of current production version and upgraded version of MPS application screens as shown in the attached document. Just wondering, if anyone have any idea of what could be the issue or if there is any way to fix it

The first screen in current PB 10.5 version and next one is upgraded in PB 2017 R3 version

Look for two things:

1. If you are using the PFC and have the RequiredColumnService turned on, ensure that the COLOR specified for the required columns is correct.

2. Sometimes the same numeric value for a color that works perfectly well on a PC/VM shows as completely different when presented in the web. Test the same app in both locations to see if it's the host platform causing this.

Hi,

Its a dropdown of a mandatory fields and dropdown background color shows yellow in the current version of PB 10.5 and shows white in the upgraded version 2017 R3. The selected value still shows yellow in both cases.

Thanks

That doesn't answer my question. Is it a drop-down DataWindow, a DataWindow DDLB, or a standalone DDLB control?

Is that a DataWindow with a drop-down DataWindow on it?

You should report it as a bug:
