Hi there

I use the tab control in quite a few of my applications - I am currently running 2017 R2

I normally set the background of each tab to a different colour and set the tab part the same colour.

PLease see the attached picture I am sure I am setting it correctly - selecting the tab page and then the tab backcolor - but it doesn't change

I am doing somthing wrong - Is this a bug - intentional etc ?

thanks in advance as allways

Andrew

What is the status of this issue?

We have version 2017 R3 (build 1858) and this problem has not been solved yet.

Thanks

Yes, Ticket #1476 is marked as "private" .. sorry. The original description of the problem is ... "The TabBackColor property on a tabpage seems to be ignored. The back color is always white. "

Hi Andrew;

   This is a known issue with PB2017Rx and there is an open ticket for this in our system.

   The workaround is to set the XP look & feel in the Project Painter to have the tab page colours appear at run time, as you set them in the UO or Window Painter.

   Note that setting the "tab" colour has no effect at runtime - only the tab page is affected by it's property setting when the XP look & feel is in effect.

Regards ... Chris

Thanks - I have not installed R3 yet - is the issue fixed in R3?

Hi Andrew;

   Yes, this is a known bug. It will work when the app is running in XP mode as set in the project painter's EXE settings. There is a support ticket already open on this issue (from R2).

Regards ... Chris
