Resolved Syntax conversion will result in partial loss of columns alias

Hello I am using Infomaker 2019 R3.

When I click on Data, then Design Menu and Convert to Graphics


I get this alert,  


I am trying to add another table to link my data.  IF I click yes, I can link my data but I believe I have lost other data in doing to as my results are coming up empty.  

Has anyone faced this? I am new to Infomaker.

Hi Allison;

  Your DB might have Table & Column aliases already set-up by your DBA. When you join tables in IM, the IDE will change the names into hybrid table / column names so that the column names will always be unique. This of course could cancel out the DB alias names. You would need to review this with your DBA team.

   Another possibility (just as a suggestion) would be to resulting in a copy. Then add the join on that report copy. Then review the new SQL IM generates in the report copy with you DBA team for possible impacts *before* making these changes to the original report. Food for thought. HTH
