Hello.

We are using the file syncrt.exe to update versions in PB 12.5. Is it suitable for PB 2019 too?
How can I use this file to delete files in the destination folder that do not exist in the original folder? Is there a parameter for this in the syc file? Or is it possible to add the launch of an additional bat file from the syc file first?

Hi Mikhael;

   This was an old C++ apply developed by PowerSoft and included in the PB developers toolkit. When Sybase took over, this utility App and the toolkit were open sourced and maintained by TeamSybase. Eventually, the source code was added to Sybase's Code Exchange area & documented at that time by Terry Voth (of Mr PBL Peeper fame). However, when SAP took over, that was all lost (AFAIK).

  Coming in PB2019R3 though will be a new automated deployment feature called PowerClient. This would be the route that I would recommend to replace the old sync utility.
