We migrated our SVN server from on-premise to a server on cloud. How do you change the Workspace repository to point to the new URL? When I tried to right-click on workspace and select properties, the URL field is disabled and cannot be edited. So, I closed the workspace and used the 'Connect to Workspace' and specified the new URL and it gave me the following error.

---------- Source Control
Connecting to workspace
Login is successful.
Starting to download workspace...
SVN client is downloading files. Please wait...
SVN client error code: The specified path is already a working copy for a different URL.
SVN fails to connect to workspace.
Connecting to workspace completed.
---------- Done Source Control

How do you change the existing URL To point to the new URL?

Note, everything on the SVN Server was migrated successfully as I can connect to SVN if I RDP into the server.

Thanks,

Vinod

Hi Vinod,

PB does not provide the functionality to modify URLs. You can use TortoiseSVN to make the changes. Here are the specific steps:

In your application folder, click on the TortoiseSVN menu: TortoiseSVN -> Relocate

Kitty

We were able to delete .svn and wsobjects from the application folder and this allowed us to 'Connect to Sourcesafe' and bring down the latest code from SVN.
