Hi, I have some doubts about how "Support Workspace Auto-Upgrade" works for IOS, if I set this section to "off" when creating a package as it appears in "Customizing and packaging Appeon Workspace" (https://www.appeon.com /support/documents/appeon_online_help/2016/appeon_developer_user_guide/ch10s04.html) What is deactivated are updates to the workspace or updates to the applications within the workspace.

Is there any way that the applications installed inside the workspace will not update at the same time that I run the application deploy.

thanks for attention,
regards

Hi Arturo.

Yes, reinstall application will update it, the offline application need to download applicatin file/profile at the first time.

What's the detail issue you get when upload app to Apple store? We had successfullu upload online application to Apple store.

If you get issue below?
------------------------------------------------------------
Guideline 2.5.2 - Performance - Software Requirements

During review, your app installed or launched executable code, which is not permitted on the App Store. Specifically, your app uses the itms-services URL scheme to install an app.
------------------------------------------------------------

If yes, the root cause of the issue is the source code about auto-upgrade, just to turn off the 'Support Workspace Auto-Upgrade' option is not enough. This issue will be fixed in the PowerServer Toolkit 2019 EBF which planed to be released around the end of this month.

Please solve the issue by the steps below for the time being.

1. Download the AppeonMobile.framework.zip below.
https://file.appeon.com/download/apb/ios/AppeonMobile.framework.zip

2. Replace the one in your application package with the above file, please refer to the article below for more details.

3. Generate the IPA file.

Hi Arturo,

Please try offline application, please go to Toolkit > Application profile > Offline Settings tab to checked 'Support Offline' and set Start mode to 'Offline', the offline db is not must required.
https://www.appeon.com/support/documents/appeon_online_help/ps2019/appeon_mobile_offline_tutorials/ch04s03.html

In this case, you are need to use eon_offlineex object to check and apply the updates of the current application.to update application.

hello zhao kai thanks for the reply

I did what you told me , I tested it in the emulator of Xcode10 and it seems to work, the version I install is the one that remains and even if I use deploy nothing changes ,if I deployed before and reinstall the application , it is installed with the changes, is it correct that it works in that way that the changes are reflected until the app is reinstalled?

I uploaded an application (Package to stand-alone Mobile Project)in the app store(IOS) is allowed but as they detect that changes can be made through the deploy is where they initiate problems because based on their policies we can uploading Inappropriate content. Could be resolved with this solution?

thanks for your attention,

regards
