Hello Appeon Folks,

I remember we used to have option to see the override event and function on top in the event and function list. I don't see that any more. What is the setting to sort these funcion and event list. I need to revisit whole list to go to particular event and/or function.

Kindly suggest the setting.

Vipin

This is what I see in PowerBuilder 2017 R3 Build 1951.

Ideally I should see all inherited code at end and my scripted one on top of list but look at the itemchanged event list it is in between inherited list.

Just like constructor and clicked. They all ARE inherited, even if they have their own code too. Also, you are using the pfc classes. I don't think you see any 'non' inherited events in your u_dw. Therefore, even if you show "Inherited at End", they'll show at the top of the list.

Agree with Miguel. u_dw is inherited from pfc_u_dw, so every event there is inherited.

Hi,

Found it!

Open any script of an event and then choose the menus "Design > Options", then go to the "Script" tabpage:

(PB 2019 R3, but I imagine that other version will be the same).

regards.

Yep... That's it. The same script sort order option since PB 5.0. ;-)

What I remember is that there was / is? a way of specifying that you want to sort the list of functions / events showing first all of the ones that have code in them.

Not sure if this is what Vipin is looking for with his question?

regards
