Resolved smtpclient subject NOT Appears

Hi

I try PowerBuilder 2022 R2 using 

smtpclient lnv_smtpclient
lnv_smtpclient = create smtpclient

lnv_SmtpClient.Message.Subject = "SMTPClient Test Message"

 

when I send the email the subject Not appears

the email arrive but whitout subject

why..??

Question.
Now have when I upload the Aplications to server via PowerClient, have a warning, before to update I not have warning, I was make a Ticket , but you know why..??

FYI: I already reported that issue.

It's a bug but, it does not cause any deployment problems - just an annoying set of warnings. ;-)

Engineering says that they will have that fixed for the GA release.

Yes, build 2693 had various SMTP issues.

Build 2751 is a secondary private release.

You'll need to wait for either another public beta build or for the GA release - then retest. You could also try opening a Support Ticket for this issue. Engineering might just give you the private build to continue testing. Worth asking IMHO.

   That was a known issue in the 1st beta.

    Are you using Beta#2:- build 2751?

Just my 2cts:

First beta or not, You create a new functionality to send an email with:

- a subject

- a body

- possible attachments.

Has this ever been tested by Appeon, because any time I mention that testing should improve they tell me they test everyting very well.

Kind of annoys me.

Someone should test with Unicode characters in the Subject, Body, and recipient/sender names. They all have to be specially encoded by the object.
