Hi,

is there a way for reports to render not using a default printer?

Some customers complain about report rendering speed. This is often related to a network printer. We suggest upgrading a driver and other general advices.
Is it a good idea to try to change the default printer to a local one before rendering a report? And if there's no local one, to install one first? (A PDF maybe?)

We are currently using PB 22 1892 but this was an issue even with PB 12.1.

Regards,

Tomáš

Hi Tomáš;

  Yes, always have a local printer assigned (real or virtual) for the best PB App performance.

Your App can use the PrintGetPrinters() command to verify.
