Hi,

I'm inheriting and assuming project responsibilities for multiple existing PowerServer apps.

Is there a way to get existing toolkit profiles from another dev machine and avoid recreating them all ?  (sorta like DBProfile sharing or common network location).

Maybe the question can I copy them from someone's specific folder location to my install drive?

Thanks

Yakov

Hi Yakov;

  Absolutely!

Like the DB Profiles, you can "Export" them from one Development Machine over to another, as follows:

Export (PS Tooklit)

Then in the Other Dev Machine's PB IDE's PS Toolkit - follow the same steps (except selecting the App) but select the "Import" CB instead.

HTH

Which PS version?

PS 2020 and prior have the export application profiles (in toolkit configuration) which does not export everything needed.  Its better than nothing at all and is missing the connection setups.  We changed to using a VM for PS deployments so that it isn't tied to a specific machine.
