Resolved SetTrans() ever needed?

Hi all,

I was wondering when to use SetTrans() instead of SetTransObject() for a datawindow?

I find the PB help (2019 R3) pretty confusing when it mentions "internal transaction object".

BTW: In 30 years, I've never had to use SetTrans().

Hi Miguel;

  I only use that command when creating a simple & quick prototype app. Moving forward from there, I rewrite the SetTrans() into SetTransObject() commands now including proper transaction management.

Hi Chris,

So yes, there's absolutely no need for SetTrans(). We can do everything with SetTransObject().
