I have a datawindow with 2 groups. In the group 2 trailer section, I have a computed field summing a column (ex. sum total for group 2). I need to sequence them by their total within each group 1 break. For example, let 's say group 1 has group A and B and in the group 2 trailer I will get rows with the sums. How can I sequence them within group 2 so that the sequencing begins in groups A and B? I hope that I communicated my question clearly.

Hi Raymond

If I understand your question, you want to order the data in Group 1 by the totals of Group 2. I would approach this in the SQl and create a sub query column summing the totals for Group 2 rows and then order by that to get the right sequence. The DW should just work then.

Hope that helps.

David
