One of our customers is expecting that when saving a grid report to XLSX, the headers be what is in the header instead of the column name all lower case.

Is there a way around this in InfoMaker?

I tried saving as HTML and then opening it in Excel. That works, although you have to turn grid lines on manually.

Hi Roland

Apart from changing the SQL query to be as near to their requirements there is not a lot you can do, it might be possible to Capitalise the Headings through a macro of something after the XLSX has been saved?

Good luck

David

Hi Roland;

  This is easy to do of course in PB as the PB App can share the current DWO buffer with a DataStore that has a duplicate DWO it it where the headers are customized to accomplish what the IM user wants. Of course, IM does not have this capability.

   Suggestion: What about creating a small PB App that runs the IM report (aka DWO) and performs the above task for the IM user reporting wise over to Excel?

Regards .. Chris
