Until now we were using Powergen to compile our app in a DevOps build server but now we want to use pbautobild2022.exe

We have installed PB 22.0.0.1900 runtime in the server and copied Powerbuilder Utilities to a folder in that server.

When we  execute pbautobuild with the json associated with the project we receive the error

[Error] Error: Runtime path does not exists. Path: .

The correct path for the runtime has been put in the json file and in the app.xml file

What are we doing wrong?

Hi Inaki;

  In order to use the PBAutoBuild external compiler on a non-PB IDE machine, you will need to install the following software.

  • Windows 11 or 10, or Windows Server 2022, 2019, or 2016

  • PowerBuilder Utilities 2022 R2

    The command line tool (PBAutoBuild220.exe) is included in PowerBuilder Utilities.

  • PowerBuilder Runtime 2022 R2
