Resolved Runtime msm/msi - path

We generate an msm / msi with the Runtime Packager 2019R3 2703.

Where can we determine the installation path of the runtime files?

In 2019R3 .2670 there was a different path than in 2019R3.2703. I hope we didn't make a mistake here.

Hi Harry;

   In PB2019 R3, the location of the PB runtime is determined by the new <AppName>.XML file produced by the PB compilers. You need to deploy the new .XML file with your EXE. Inside the XML is the path to the runtime which is picked up by your EXE reading the XML file at start-up.

   When yo install the R3 runtime via the R3 "PB Packager" ... if the location you install it is not the same as in your development environment - then you will need to either: a) reinstall the runtime as per you development PC's location or b) edit the XML file and adjust the PATH entry to point to where the R3 runtime is located on your deployment PC(s).
